How long will my MacBook Pro battery last if I keep the brightness turned all the way down and the computer unplugged?

To be clear, I mean the brightness would be turned to zero, pitch black — the equivalent of turning the monitor off.

The reason I’m asking is I’m expecting a power outage due to Hurricane Irene, so I want to know how long I could use the laptop as a charger for my iPhone (or iPod).
