Angelina Jolie I would like to have many children.
Brad Pitt I have a gorgeous girlfriend.
Would rather be: Lara Croft
Closer to reality: just about any character ever portrayed by Drew Barrymore.
Wishful thinking: Amy Pond (who wouldn’t?)
In reality: Marge Simpson (well, the young version minus husband or kids)
I’m so many characters all wrapped into one, it’s impossible to explain it, except to say I’m a storyteller. I love the oral tradition, and I love telling stories. I go into character pretty much every day because I’m always telling ‘em. I have many stories, and all of my stories are true, but some are more true than others.
I want to be like Rita of Coronation Street fame but in reality am probably more like Mavis.
Rita, in BBC Coronation Street soap opera was the witty, together news stand owner whom you had to get up mighty early to get a fresher bird than her, while Mavis was her hand wringing side kick who never really seemed to have the confidence that everything was going to work out. Mavis in love was a sight to see!
I coulda bin a contender!
I am a fuckin star, so my kids tell me, minus the profanity of course.
@ucme the profanity makes you an even bigger star! ;)
@MRSHINYSHOES Yeah, but the kids have to kiss their mum with those mouths, so…....
@ucme that’s what makes you doubly a star.
@MRSHINYSHOES Oh you smooth talking bounder from below stairs you ;¬}
The Personification of Death. He meets all kinds of people, in the Discworld series he loves cats (Which I do too), and is still learning everyday.
The Death from On a Pale Horse is imperfect, and is only immortal as long as he does his job correctly, and wishes to stay in office. He isn’t actually bone like the standard Death, he only appears to be while wearing his cloak and hood. He works together with the personifications of Fate, Time, War and Nature. (Technically he works with Good and Evil as well)
Let me stop myself there from droning on and on any further.
In reality, I’m apparently extremely close to Zach Galifianakis.
Kate Adie – oh popular character…. hmmmm…....... Dr. Nikki Alexander, forensic anthropologist from Silent Witness or perhaps Eddie “Fitz” Fitzgerald from Cracker.
I’d like to be Scott Pilgrim. In reality, I’m Eric from That 70’s Show.
@Joker94 You remind me a hell of a lot more of Scott. :)
Er hmm…hard to pick just one. I’d like to be that old guy in Halloween IV who gives Loomis a ride down to Haddonfield. I could drink unlimited whiskey and say cool ominous shit like, you can’t kill damnation, mister! It don’t die like a normal man!
For anyone who’s seen that movie, does anyone else believe that this old drunk is actually an angel sent by God to help Loomis stop Mikey?
In reality though, I’m a lot more like Mark Renton from Trainspotting. Cynical, angry and self destructive. Ain’t as cool or wise as he is, though. But everything else fits. XD
Or maybe ’‘the lady’’ from Inside, only I’ve never killed anyone before.
I’d like to be Mary Poppins but I am more like House.
I’d be Constantine. I don’t know who I am, as a character.
I want to be Karen O. Or that one girl with that dragon tattoo. I’m actually Hermione.
@Symbeline Why, thank you! Your answer makes me interested in watching Halloween..
If you do, I hope you like them. :)
I want to be: Mattie Ross, True Grit. Ok, she lost her dad (very sad), but she led an adventurous life. She is also very strong and independent, especially at such a young age. I was very quiet and shy at her age. She is a character I can look up to and admire.
I am: Marge Simpson. This from Wikipedia: Jonsblond Marge is the well-meaning and extremely patient mother of the Blond Simpson family. With her husband Blondesjon Homer, she has three children. Jonsblond Marge is the moralistic force in her family and often provides a grounding voice in the midst of her family’s antics by trying to maintain order in the Blond Simpson household.
^^see what you have to look forward to @Keep_on_running. ;)
Like to be Aragorn but I’m actually more like Gollum in Frodo’s body.
Hmmm I would like to be like… I don’t know, someone happy.
Closer to a combination of The Captain and Alucard from Hellsing.
I would like to be Hermione Granger, but I’m more like Neville Longbottom (before he got his groove and became a BAMF).
I’d love to be Padme but some days I feel like this.
I do have a reputation for being like THIS
@linguaphile…does that mean you’re bouncy everywhere? Cuz I got something that needs some bouncing… lol
@King_Pariah Haha, funny! I can be very hyper and can not sit still. I had to attend a 100% lecture orientation from 8–3 today and I was the only one out of 40 teachers who left 5 times ‘to go to the bathroom.’ So, I guess you can say I bounced in and out!
