Does your pet snore?

When I was a kid, I had a beagle that snored. He used to sleep at the foot of my bed, and sometimes he’d snore and keep me awake. I remember I tried to shake him a bit to wake him up and make him quit, but he would growl angrily, with his eyes still closed. He used to make little barking noises too when he was dreaming.

I have a beagle, she snores. She sounds like a person. I have heard my cats snoring, but my dog snores regularly. She also barks and woofs and “runs” in her sleep. It’s cute.

I also have a beagle, who also snores like a human. It can be pretty disgusting at times.

Oh man, I miss that pug in Arizona where I used to work night shift in a scary environment. She was the one who made me fall asleep. Her loud snoring relaxed me!

My dog is a little cockapoo, and sometimes she snores a little, its really cute

She smiles sometimes too, like a person does when she’s happy.

My cat doesn’t snore, but…my geese make cute little squeaking sounds when they poop! Seriously!
It is hilarious…you will hear this little groan and squeaky honk….cracks me up every time. lol

sometimes if my dog is really really tired he does snore and it sort of sounds like a soft whistle.

@Coloma Tsk, all these years with your geese and you haven’t discovered that that’s the secret to flawless pooping. I do that all the time…

No, but she often complains about my snoring. And hogging the blankets. But that’s for another thread.

Yay more Beagle owners! :) I have a beagle, who is a very, very loud when she snores! She even snorts in her sleep.

Oh god…Pug snoring…my ex in-laws had Pugs for years…lots of snoring with those squishy faced guys. lol

@Coloma Snoring is perfect for pugs. It looks like its whole face is built for snoring not just the nose! Heh.

My cat makes this purring noise and my dog whines and barks in his sleep. I kick and make a whistling noise in my sleep, so together we make quite a ruckus.

Both my cats snore, the older one more so & her farts are quite audible too. When she does a double it’s hilarious :-/

When Zuppy snores it’s only cute during the day, at night it wakes me up and we end up barking and growling at each other…

We had a cocker spaniel who snored when she was older.

My family had a beagle who snored a lot, and sounded like a person. Maybe it’s a beagle trait?

My cats snore too – the female more often and louder than the male. Sometimes she snores so loudly that I have to touch her and wake her up so she’ll stop. It’s cute and annoying at the same time :)

No but she does that dawg thing where she runs in her sleep yelping like a mad thing from madtown. I love it, so funny. She’s probably dreaming of chasing a boy dog who just bought her a bunch of flowers….or sumfin!

Not exactly snoring, but, funny story.
When I first moved to this house 5 years ago I would hear this horrible hacking, LOUD coughing, coming from up the hill at my neighbors.

I thought ” Man…that guy is really sick!” haha

I had never heard such loud and bizarre sounds coming from a person, well…that’s because I finally discovered it was their coughing LLAMA! lololol

All of our dogs snore but it’s not cute at all, they sound just like us when we snore.

My dogs all snore, some more than others. One of them snores very loudly and very consistently. I’ve never heard a cat snore.
