Put it in a jar and put it on display.
Some people make jewelry.
I like to make really fucked up contact lenses. ;)
Make a bracelet or a necklace.
A wind chime would be really pretty out of beach glass.
Put them at the bottom of vases you partially fill with water and cut flowers.
Sprinkle them on a small plate you’ve arranged candle pillars on.
I thought that said caterpillars at first.
Suncatcher?
Does anyone else collect it? My niece and I were along a private beach on Lake Huron and we found the Motherload of beach glass.
I would love to get bottles like these here, smash them and put them in a rock tumbler, then scatter them along the beach for my niece to find. I would pretend that they really came in from the lake. She’d flip. :)
Throw them in your freezer and reuse them as ice cubes.
throw it back into the ocean during a boat trip
Make candles and have the pieces of glass surround the outter part! it would be cute :)
There’s a few interesting ideas here
“throw it back into the ocean during a boat trip”
Haha. That won’t happen. :)
I would be all over making jewelry out of them. Though they probably don’t have holes to string through, you can secure them by wrapping them in wire like this (those wrapped balls at the bottom are marbles).
@Jude I collect it too.
I usually just keep it in an antique clear glass jar and put the jar in a sunny window. The light shining on it and through it is very nice.
@YoBob ‘s link has some great ideas.
Add it to a mobile with other sparkly found objects and a few bells and make a “Fairy Fetcher”
