What, if anything, are you planning to do to mark the 10th anniversary of 9-11?

I’m sure some will watch TV anniversary coverage, some will travel to Shanksville, PA or Ground Zero, and others will not mark the day in any particular way. What is your plan for the day and in what way will your choice be significant for you?

I will probably say a prayer and be especially alert that day.
Honestly, I can’t even think about it. That may have been the only time in my adult life I was so angry I got sick to my stomach.
I will have to get around to talking to my children about it, as my daughter is just getting to the age where she will have questions.
I was just thinking this morning how sad all the noise about it makes me and that I might look to do something of a service nature on that day if there are projects being organized. I think that helping America would be the most meaningful thing to do.
Yay, @janbb!
I will give thought to those who lost their lives (although I don’t think that their loss is any more special than those who lost their lives in other disasters).
And I will not go downtown to Washington DC for fear terrorists will strike again.
I am having a hard time with all the 9–11 material on television. Usually, I will watch it, but this year it really is wearing on me. I may just spend the day watching the LOTR movies.
There is a memorial to the WTC victims in my town. I may go and lay a wreath and say a prayer.
