So we have a new addition to our house, which my SO is so in love with, the iPhone 4.
We have downloaded some apps for entertainment, but a lot of them have turned out to be rubbish!
He likes the typical men stuff fishing, guns, sudoku etc
I like the more light hearted fun stuff I can play with the kids.
So any tried and tested suggestions please?

Unblock me, Tap Tap Revenge, Gun Range, World of Goo, Finger Physics, and Oregon Trail are all fun.
Also, if you want some relaxation apps, the Sleepmaker apps are AMAZING. They have one where you can listen to different types of storms.

Yeah, i can see it before me, a tough guy on a horse, going to his favorite river to fish some, shooting some grouse on the way, and when he arrives he first relaxes a bit with a nice sudoku ;-)
From all the dozens of apps I downloaded, 9 out of 10 I never use or even look at, but the Google Sky Map is quite cool.
I must add, Tap Tap Revenge is ADDICTING. I play it all of the time and I have some of the highest scores.
The ones I use the most are RadioTimes (the BBC’s TV listing) and NationRail’s Train Times which shows train er… times.
@KateTheGreat LOL…..he is already looking for Gun Range…but says there are lots of versions?
@rebbel Oh you so make me laugh, but you pretty much summed him up in one. (He is a South African farmer’s son by so your not far out with the horse riding cowboy, which made it even funnier, although he is not amused ;-)
I just found out that Postsecret now has an app :)
