Can you delete specific entries from york history on a MacBook without deleting all of the history?

In Safari, go to the Bookmarks menu, and choose “Show all Bookmarks,” then on the left-hand column click on the “History” button; you should be able to then click on specific sites and delete them (‘poof’).
As for Firefox, the same can be done by going to the History menu and choosing “Show in Sidebar.” You can then find the individual sites by clicking the triangle next to the folder you wish to search (today, yesterday, etc.).

for future reference, when i want to do something i don’t want in the history, i use safari’s “private browsing” feature. (under safari tab)
