Canadians: How would you feel if all of a sudden America took over your country? (Americans, vice versa).

Wouldn’t matter what country took over; I would feel bad.

I, for one, welcome our new Canadian overlords.

Even though americans are fat cause of the mcdonalds all the time, they would freeze.

I would love to be part of Canada without the disruption of having to move!

Canadian provinces are pretty independent. If Canada took over the US in a friendly merger, all those states rights people would be bum-fuzzled at being responsible for running their states provinces.

And the FBI would be part of the RCMP – snazzy red uniforms and campaign hats!

Canada’s been dormant for such a long time that their day is upon us. Next time Wall Street shits itself, those wily Canadians will be right there to bail us out. It’ll be like the US and Mexico, except more Northern and with less drugs.

May I suggest something along the lines of a more rational division. (... and rationality has a lot to do with it.)

If Canada took over the US, I’d be embarassed to say the least and maple syrup would become a guilty pleasure… I’d probably leave it up to a dice roll to see if I stay, leave, or start a resistance.

Is it true that if martial law were ever to be imposed in North America that there is a “rule” that military cannot impose their own citizens and that American military would be dispatched to keep rule in Canada and vice versa? The source who told me this was civilian so I have no idea if it is accurate or not. Respond?
