Here you go, around halfway down the page.
So many. Am I looking at about $100. Not sure what to get.
I best ones are those that look like walkie- talkies. So much handier and you can take them in the car.
Buying a police scanner, for my department at least, is a waste of money. You cannot hear any of our police calls….period. We have over 280 different frequencies, that are constantly in use for police calls. You may hear a call given out, but you will not hear the reply. Our communication system is constantly changing frequencies.
Save your money.
I have a Uniden hand held. It is good for carring around on your belt while walking.
You can listen to some live police and fire feeds here. That’ll save you some money.
@jonsblond Did they have a feed for your area? It sounds like it. I listen there sometimes and I have a police scanner app for my iPhone.
@lillycoyote Our county is included. I haven’t listened to it yet though. I’ll give it a try later.
