I’m with @lucillelucillelucille and would include myself and one other friend in the “eccentric” category. As far as famous others, none, there is a difference between eccentricity and batshit crazy. haha
Being germ phobic to the point of agoraphobia falls into the batshit zone. lol
My most esoteric and eccentric friend and I had a marathon babble last night, 3 hours of running the gauntlet. Everything from science, philosophy, you name it, we covered it, we are a perfect energy match.
I love my friend Frank, he is the only person I know that parallels me in terms of his amazing open minded and emotionally honest and esoteric personality.
He is a successful building contractor and musician who goes to free dance classes, leads Tibetian prayer bowl healing sessions, and energy classes, is highly involved with our local natural foods co-op and always has his nose into a myriad of creative pursuits and community service projects.
He is extremely supportive of my wacky lifestyle and champions my esoteric choices.
I find a lot of us rather eccentric types fall into the Enneagram #7 profile, The Enthusiasts.
We are creative, out of the box, non-conforming, and prone to extreme excitement over controversial ideas and theories that many would consider too ” out there” for their tastes.
My friend Frank paid me a wonderful complement yesterday, he said I was one of the most ” alive” women he knew.
Yes, we have a romantic history, but, our friendship is priceless to us both at this time. ;-)
