Whats your favorite work of ray bradbury?
i liked his short story The Town That No One Got Off. i never would have read it unless my teacher had assigned it. also, A Sound Of Thunder taught me that everything has its purpose, a rule that i re-tell myself 100 times everyday.

The Illustrated Man , perhaps…
Fahrenheit 451 and The Martian Chronicles (Zach; why aren’t you doing your homework?}
Martian Chronicles. My dad read it to me when I was a kid as a bedtime story. A chapter a night. I had to recite something for a class in fourth grade, once, and memorized There Will Come Soft Rains, which is my absolute favorite part.
@gailcalled: ill get right on it mom. but seriously, i just read The Town Where No One Got Off for school and i was curious what other people thought.
Zach; just call me “granny”. And read everything that Bradbury wrote; you can’t go wrong.
I think that the story is called “The Veldt” or something like that. It’s from the Illustrated Man.
I like “Something Wicked This Way Comes.”
Creepy, but cool.
I hated Fahrenheit 451. Huge disappointment.
My favorites are Fahrenheit 451 and Dandelion Wine.
I like most of his early stuff. I read nearly all the short stories, and several of the novels. His stories are always just a little off, or sideways from reality.
@Allie – I just finished reading that recently – It Was excellent.
I also like DEATH IS A LONELY BUSINESS – it’s very “Bradbury”
Dandelion Wine was excellent.
The Martian Chronicles, I just finished reading it yesterday.
