Are there any popular adult entertainment stars living and working in NYC?
…or are they all in LA? I’d like to profile one (no pun intended, however that might mean…) for a journalism class…

Seems to me that part of the journalist’s job is to develop reliable ways of tracking down someone. I’m not sure that Fluther is all that reliable.
Anyway, I’d try Google—look for porn production studios in NYC, and then call them and ask if you can get an interview with an actress. They usually like publicity. If you tell them the interview will be published in your school paper, I bet they’d jump at the chance to get access to young men age 18–24.
I wouldn’t tell them you were doing “action” research, though. I don’t think they give out free samples.
My ex-girlfriend Michelle does.

“Some may know Ryan Keely as the Penthouse Pet who has, ahem, come through the ranks with such DVDs as “Girl Play” and “Cum Alone 2,” while others may recognize her face (and cootch) from the sexiest promo video (NSFW) for an Apple product in the company’s history. the NYC transplant recently gave Asylum some pointers on how to make the most of boinking in the Big Apple—from getting busy in a taxi cab to sexually navigating the studio apartment you share with three other people (and two cats). ” Asylum

The Bronx-raised sex performer told the Daily News Thursday the two bimbos living with Sheen – a porn star and marijuana-magazine pinup – have no business playing nanny.” New York Daily News
@marinelife When you looked that up, did you see porn? :)
@Blackberry No, if you check the links I gave, you will see that they are mainstream media. I just saw pictures of the porn stars (fully [mostly] clothed).
If I’ve read correctly, Billy Herrington lived in NYC at one point (I’m not sure where he is now, though.)
