All of a sudden I can no longer access my F drive on my computer. This has never been a problem before. How to fix this?

Reboot, for starters.

First off, you need to say whether F drive is a fixed harddrive, an optical drive (i.e. CD/DVD) or a portable drive (i.e. USB flash drive). Depending on the hardware that is assigned the Drive letter F, appropriate troubleshooting measures can be tried.

What OS?
A drive letter of F: sounds more like a mapped network drive, but I have seen odder configurations.

If it is Windows OS go to Start | Programs | Administrative Tools and open Computer Managment

Select Disk Management. This will be a start to see what the OS sees for disks, Volumes and drive letter mappings.

If you think it is a physical drive that has goone missing, then the machine BIOS is the next place to look.

In either event more information is needed to really determine what the “F” was in the first place :D

My main drive is the c drive. F drive is the memory stick drive.

@blueiiznh I performed an error check on the drive in question and this fixed the problem. Thanks for everyone’s help!
