What foods do you continue to eat, even though you might feel a little sick afterward?
I keep eating dairy products, even though my tummy gets a little “wonky” an hour later. I love dairy products so much that it seems mostly worth it to satisfy my cravings even if I get an upset stomach afterward.
Are their foods that make you a little nauseous or sick, but you still consider them worth the price?

Ummm, poutine. I love it but I know I’ll have a hot tummy later.
Really? Watermelon makes you sick? Huh.
Pizza. Makes me feel sick for a few hours after I eat it, and I know it is terrible for me. But none of that detracts from the experience for me.
Spaghetti. I can’t just stop when I’m “comfortably full”; I have to nearly kill myself when I eat it.
That, and the chocolate Halloween candy that I always buy too much of.
I love garlic but garlic doesn’t love me. If I eat it then I’ve got diarrhea for a few days.
The foods that I consume are too plain and limited in variety to have that sort of effect on me.
Yellow Oreos. To be honest, I think it is the quantity making me ill.
As far as I know, I’m not allergic to anything. I don’t engorge myself on food, either. I’m pretty good about knowing when to stop. My significant other is lactose intolerant, but that certainly won’t keep them from eating a bowl of cereal every night.
Bread and pizza. I get horrible cramps and feel sick afterwards, but I still indulge occasionally.
tomatoes….too much acid, but I love them!
Recently I absent mindedly polished off, ALMOST, an entire milk carton of Whoppers while watching a DVD. OMG!
I like to suck on them and so it was the double edged sword of raw roof of mouth and tummy ache. Whoppers are dangerous! lol
chocolate, and definitely ICE CREAM!!!
@Scooby
Oh, coolness, never heard of it. Looks rich. Be careful, you might have bad Parmo karma. lol
Now WHY am I, all of a sudden, hearing that old Boy George song..Parmo, parmo. parmooo kameleon…. hahaha
@Coloma
Lol……Yep, they’re rich ok….. That’s why I only order a half Parmo, once a week I can’t manage a full one…. :-/ they’re a Teesside tradition now mostly eaten after a night out on the town with the Lads & Lasses…
It takes a while to work one off Lol…....
The usual – Mexican food and Indian food.
Lemon and lime juice. I love sour drinks even though they will sometimes cause diarrhea if too much.
These are great, guys!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who does this.
My coworkers and I go out for happy hour every Thursday, and we usually get sweet potato fries and tater tots to go with our beer and wine. I’m not sure if it’s one or both of them that disagree with me but I always feel gross by the time I get home.
I hate the feeling of being ill after eating something so I usually don’t.
Lately my hubby’s breakfast (sausages or bacon, eggs and hashbrowns) has me green when he even mentions it. I’ve been eating it to be polite but I really just crave toast or granola.
My crap tolerance has gone way down the older I get.
Celery !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Apples !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Carrots !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And a particular type of chocolate. If someone buys me 10 tablets I cannot stop until I eat them all ^^
I really love spicy shit. Sometimes I order this crazy type of pizza, that has jalapeno and hot banana peppers on it. I mean it does not forgive. After like, a slice and a half, my guts don’t feel all that cool, but super hot and spicy pizza is so good that I don’t stop eating it haha.
Dairy for me, too. I’m lactose intolerant, but I freaking love cheese, milk, ice cream.
@augustlan I wonder how many people are either lactose intolerant or have an actual allergy to dairy (like my daughters), and don’t realize it. My husband does the same thing- he’ll eat a whole plate of cheese enchiladas or a whole pint of ice cream in a single sitting and then he’s in the bathroom for the rest of the night. He says it’s worth it, lol.
@faye Not enough to be worth the effort of remembering to take it, in my opinion. I’m lazy like that, though. ;)
