I had someone—at least I think it was one person—go through and give me a ton lurve a few hours ago.
Thanks, whoever you are! My question, though, is were you just being nice, or do you really like all of my answers?

You are new. Some people do that. It isn’t admiration. It is a misguided attempt to make a new person feel welcome. While the intent is fantastic the method is lacking in finesse.
It is much easier to just say “Welcome to Fluther.”
I just lurved a few of your responses, while reading the question about your mom’s grief. You might be getting lurve from quite a few people. :)
We tend to lurve-bomb newbies. Just grin and bear it.
I just gave you a “great question”. Take that!
Lurvsplosions aren’t rare ‘round these parts.
You are a noob so you have yet to learn the hierarchy of the Lagoon. Just start opening your mouth and being original, you won’t have to worry about much lurve again. ;-D
Damn @augustlan, Your so misguided.
Oh hey, this guys new? WELCOME TO FLUTHER! GREAT QUESTION!
It means we all want to have sex with you.
Nah, you’re just new. Enjoy it while you can.
It probably wont happen again till you get close to 10k. Like @woodcutter for example :)
Haha. I lurve on the new peoples too:)
Welcome to Fluther!
As @Lightlyseared said, it will probably happen again close to milestones. I have been getting a lot of that in the last week or so, but I am fast approaching 20k. If it is because you are new, or because you post great stuff, or because you have a milestone coming up… the intent is the same. It’s a thoughtful gesture.
@ANef_is_Enuf you are special but if you could ask some great questions and write lots of fantastic answers to speed things up a bit that would be aprectiated because it was a long day here and I dearly need my bed ;)
Haha!! I’m out of questions. :\ I’ll see what I can do about being brilliant in other ways.
ooooh look my lurve is a palindrome
