How much money has been won in the history of Wheel of Fortune by a contestant?

I’m talking before the bonus round, when they bid farewell to the other players and focus on the winner.

The largest winner was in a single game and the total was over 1 million dollars. It was on Oct 14 2008 and Michelle Loewenstein won a total of $1,026,080.00. Wouldn’t you love to be her? :D
