Is there a known issue with PM's?

I get an email with the information on a PM, but when I look in “messages to you” area online, there is no PM.
I go back to my email and click the link and sure enough I can read a PM, but it never shows if I click on “messages to you”.
I used to simply delete the email on my mobile and assume when I am on fluther that the PM is in my “messages to you” area.
I have noticed recently this occuring more, most recently yesterday.
I now wonder how many I may have missed and that it may come across as I ignored a fellow Jellie’s PM.
I there a known issue with PM?
Has anyone else noticed this?

I haven’t noticed that yet.
I’ve only noticed that with spam messages, because they get deleted.
Its a spam message that went to hell.
Only spammers that have been banned. If there’s another issue, I’m unaware of it.
It was not a spam message nor from a spammer.
If needed , I think I still have the message on my email if needed.
Is it from someone who has since left Fluther?
Ok, the only thing I can think of is something that’s happened to me before. I’ll be on a page, answering a question or something, and see that I have one PM. I finish answering the question, click on my messages, and see that I actually have two PMs I haven’t read yet. What happens in that case, is that someone sent me one while I was on the page, and it doesn’t refresh the number of messages until you leave the page. Maybe a similar thing happened to you?
@augustlan I have had that happen often, but this one simply never shows up at all in the list, but it got emailed to me.

Very weird. Maybe just a one-time glitch? Please let me know if it ever happens again.
No. I haven’t noticed anything like this other than I have wondered why I no longer get notifications to my email.
That randomly stopped months ago, I never bothered to investigate, no biggie to me.
I’ve been PMing and it hasn’t happened to me.
Conspiracy, perhaps? Hoping to start a panic to liven up a Sunday morning…
even if it is a conspiracy, it will not come close to the missing lurve conspiracy. (surely to go down in the history books.)
I heard that the government is stealing our PMs and missing lurve to power secret spy satellites that transmit mind control rays to our brains and make us want to eat copious amounts of Cheetos, in order to support the dairy and corn industries.
That enough of a conspiracy?
Needs more secret Muslim.
I did, right around the time you did. I got “messages for you”(2) and when I clicked it it became 0. I found out that one of them was a spam, because it was in my email too, but the other one was from augustlan. When I clicked on the “messages for you”, nothing new in my exchange with augustlan, eventhough I was expecting a response. I bumped into the response at a later date though.
