If you made a conscious decision to be alone, and celibate - how much free time would you suddenly have - and what would you do with all that time?

Not much, because I would probably shoot myself.
If I’m going to be celibate, then I would also give up TV/movies, any restaurant/fast food, xBox, and everything else I use to medicate myself with. If I’m going to deprive myself of the antidote, then it makes sense to also stop taking the poison.
I would use the extra time on my studies and blog more about the things I care about, and devote myself to meditation and charity work. Honestly, the only reason I’m not already there is because my SO and I have had such a crazy year trying to get settled. After writing this question though, I feel inspired to stop making excuses and start making those improvements regardless- GQ!
I don’t know because if I ever made such a decision I would be out of my mind.
I already have! Have not been in a relationship for the past 2 years, by choice.
What I DO with all this time and space is simply in-joy my being, work in several community service related part time situations, write, hang on my property with my animals, travel on occasion and when the urge hits, well..I have turbo jets in the hot tub and a small cache of toys. lol
Never say never…but, at this time I am VERY content!
Dozens of extra hours per week. I would play video games.
38 hours per week would be freed up for me were I to suddenly find myself single and childless (given my current schedule).
I’d certainly read more and go out to movies again. I’d hope to get to museums again and just spend time doing nothing.
This would be great…for about two days and then I’d be begging the universe to return my family to me.
