What are my favorite people (that's you guys) doing today?

Since I have no life, I’m doing nothing except going to my mom’s house today. I’m curious to know what others are doing today. If you’re in the Frederick area, are you going to the fair? (we got today off of school because of the fair, some kids have animals to show.) If not, do you have anything fun planned? Is anyone just not doing anything, like me?

I just got engaged. Nothin’ special. ;)
Congratulations, pretty lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<3 <3 <3
It’s my day off and I’m chillin’. :)
Practicing piano, composing, going to classes…
Nothing else much, really.
I am firing neutrinos to check if they can travel faster than light.
Nothing special, really.
Congratulations, @Seelix!
@Seelix Dude, sweet. Congratulations. :)
I have no life either. Imma sit around and play Alice the Madness Returns, and get my ass drunk.
@Seelix Congratulations!
I did some laundry and took a nice walk with my neighbor. Lots of fluther and a little facebook.
Practicing for a music competition, doing a project, and making Tiramisu for someone special. :)
I still haven’t had my post-lunch cookie!
The day is nearly over here but I spent the morning sorting out washing etc after getting back from my holiday, then I went into town to sort out a financial situation and then I went to buy a car! I am now chilling out here after tea with my dad until my favourite programme comes on at 11pm.
Congrats to @Seelix, and @rebbel, that is so awesome.
Today my best friend is here from her college, along with her boyfriend who I’m meeting for the first time, and we’re going to dinner about an hour away. We’re going so far because we’re meeting another friend at another college halfway. I haven’t seen them for a month, so it’s great!
I just realized that I wrote what’s are my favorite people doing, instead of what.
Reading Chomsky’s Deterring Democracy and fluthering. This weekend I’ll be doing the same because I’m trying to save money.
First of three days off with my honey. I did a bunch of errands, and then because I am still laid low by my cold took a nap.
Oh, I also picked a ripe tomato from my tomato plant!
@Mariah Ah shoot, you thought I was actually doing that for real?
No, I was referring to the news that CERN has found that neutrinos (apparently) do travel faster than light, and they asked fellow scientists, in other labs around the world, to repeat their research to find out if they really did see what they think they saw.
I am barely able to spell the word neutrino.
Lol! I saw that as well, pretty awesome, @rebbel.
Worked until 3PM – baking today, not banking. Came home, started laundry, picked up Subway for dinner. Messing around on Facebook and Fluther. Going to read or knit soon. And there’s going to be wine in here somewhere.
@Seelix – Congratulations! We need to have a bachelorette party for you!
@laineybug – I saw in another thread that your organizational work went kaboom. Have you a plan for reining it in? I’m sure you do, but thought I would check!
@rebbel, lmao now I feel so stupid. I was like, how did I not know he was a physicist??
@Seelix Ohh, my counter proposal did not reach you in time, I see. Lol. Congrats!
Just saw Moneyball and Driver. And now, since @Seelix is off the market, going to dinner with another hot chick in a Korean restaurant and share a gigantic soup bowl of simmering spicy seafood.
@laineybug Frederick? As in which state Frederick?! Lol. A hint would be nice!
@rebbel Race yah dude, in catching those neutrinos. I’m way way deeper in the arctic than you, dude! Lol.
@Seelix Congratulations! I didn;t do anything anywhere near so special. I went to work, then I went to art class (which was cancelled) then I went to the pub with some friends and had a beer or three. Now it’s just past midnight and I’m off to bed.
Woo hoo @Seelix, ring’s on the finger, you’re most definitely, for all to see, off the market.
I’m giving thanks today that the store we ordered a suit for my fiancee from is so reasonable. We got him measured at one location, ordered a suit online (to save several hundred dollars over in-store) based on those measurements and the darned suit looked awful when he tried it on. Turns out he was measured incorrectly at the first location so second location decided to build him a whole new suit in his correct size. Yay! What a difference it makes between a “long” and a “regular”.
If you get measured for men’s suits, make sure you try on several in that size to back up the person who held the tape!
@JLeslie Jesus, Mary and Joseph, that’s our neighboring county!!!
@JLeslie Ha ha ha ha…20 minutes by subway to President Obama’s abode…
I think you mean Metro. Bethesda?
I want a coca-cola if I am right.
Earlier today, I finished reading Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden on my Kindle. Right after that I watched the movie based on this book.
The book was truly excellent and the movie was great. I loved them both.
@JLeslie Ohh how I wish I could say Potomac or Chevy Chase or the Palisades, lol. But no, yet it’s somewhere in Montgomery County, yes! : ) ( And Prince George got Wegman’s, darn! )
@mazingerz88 You know Auggie and I grew up in Montgomery Village. Right?
@JLeslie No. Beautiful place to raise a family though. Lived there awhile near along Watkins Mill, not too far from the schools! Ha ha
Watched a movie on TV with the whole family tonight. It was like being a real family!
Played video games for like six hours and then watched a movie. My kitties were hanging around. We’re a family too! My roommate doesn’t count.
