What is a simple craft project I can do with a Dremel tool that is profitable?
I suppose I could make chess pieces. Maybe wooden puzzles. Any ideas?

You’ll likely find something here . It’s a great site full of projects I never have time for. You’re bound to unleash your creative side if you do one of these projects.
I don’t know if you have any of the accessories like the router attachment, that sort of thing, but it’s amazing what can be done with just the Dremel rotary tool itself. I love my Dremels! It’s a versatile tool and I really don’t know what your particular crafty type talents are so it’s kind of hard to suggest something specific but there are actually some great ideas on Dremel’s website. If you go put your cursor over the “Videos & How-to” tab you’ll get a drop down menu. The company itself provides some ideas but some of the most interesting things are in the “Customer Creations” area. If you click on the image of the finished project it will show you what is needed for that particular project. What accessories may have been used and what bits and attachments were used. Carved walking sticks and canes like this one and this one seem to be pretty popular among the Dremel crowd. Those would relatively simple though I don’t know how profitable it might be.
Make wooden mushrooms, all different sizes and shapes, dip them in high gloss varnish. For some reason most ladies love them and if you sell them 3 for whatever, you will sell dozens.
These things allow unlimited creativity and sell for quite a bit.
Ah yes, fab eggs @syz.
I don’t know if my dremel skills are up to par though!!! At least I’d be well fed on omelets!
The eggs are beautiful, but look very detailed and difficult, especially on an egg shell!
(Can you buy ostrich eggs in the grocery store there???)
Along the same line as eggs but not quite so fragile are gourds, google gourd carving and you will see some beautiful projects there as well.
You can order them online, already emptied and cleaned.
@syz – no kidding! I wonder if there is there anything you can’t get from the internet. (That would make a good question for social!)
