Why won't Fluther let me upload a Google image to use for my avatar?

Remember the question I had about pictures on Paint? Well, I’m having that problem again. But this time, it’s something from the internet. It won’t let me upload a google image. What’s going on?

Well, it’s a picture of my favorite cartoon character, and what it’s saying at the bottom is “We are only accepting the photos of JPG PGN and JPEG variety.” I don’t know what to do!
