Are there any new shows on TV this season that you recommend?

Well it’s not exactly new, but Monk is always a great show, as are the national geographic specials.

For the first show, I thought Pan Am was interesting. I’ll watch it again.

I’m about 30 minutes into Pan Am and it seems pretty good. But part of me wants it to end so I can watch Breaking Bad.

Ringer. It’s the first show I’ve enjoyed from the CW since they became the CW.

Only one week longer and the Season premier of Dexter. I can hardly wait :)

Downton Abbey and Suits.

Burn Notice on Showcase. Not new, but I’m new to watching it. Has quickly become my favourite crime/action show.

DVR ALERT

There is a Burn Notice scheduled for this coming Thurs. all day long.

I am desperately, insanely waiting to see Awake starring the ever gorgeous Jason Isaacs <drools a little> seriously though…. desperately!! Interestingly enough though, there is already a page set up at play.com for the dvd release, still no idea which channel will show it in the UK :-) seriously, go watch the trailer at the link above and tell me it doesn’t look gooooooooood!!

@bunnygrl , Awake looks great, but it’s on NBC and they are famous for canceling shows without resolution. I’m afraid to start watching it.

And me without a DVR. Most rude.

@Judi oh dear!! I do hope it doesn’t get cancelled, Mr Isaacs said on bbc breakfast that he’d packed up his family to move across the pond for this show, so I hope for him that it’s a hit. If not, I hope they at least make enough episodes to make it worth a channel here picking it up?

I’m new to House MD and have been watching season 1 and really like it.. Oops..Nevermind.. Just read the title and you’re looking for NEW shows. Um. I watched Terra Nova last week and thought it was ok.. I tried New Girl and didn’t like it enough to watch again..

I just watched the premiere episode of Person of Interest. I really liked it and will stick with it. The actors are really good and the premise is fascinating and very timely.

It’s certainly not as far-fetched as Terra Nova considering the escalating numbers of security cameras popping up all over the place.

I think this is the first of the new crop I’ve watched that actually has legs.
