It’s for a contemporary fictional character. What’s on TV these days that a 16 yo boy would likely watch? It can be old cartoons or new ones.
yes, I would guess that many/some 16 year-olds are maybe too old for cartoons, but this would be in the case of being semi-bored and while eating a bowl of cereal.

have a 17 year old girl that likes King of the Hill
It depends on his tastes. I recently found out about Pucca. Awful graphic ant not so good lines but they are really funny. They always make me laugh ^^
Some of the anime series, maybe?
South Park
And there’s a fairly new series called Ugly Americans that works hard at being hip
Thanks all, I appreciate your answers and they are most helpful. Are there any “Saturday morning-ish” cartoons as well? I realize that cartoons are on 24/7, but something more that flavor than prime time in addition to the above.
Saturday morning? Reruns of Space Ghost, Sealab, Looney Tunes, Pokemon…
My nephew is 17 and watches a lot of anime…..some friends of his are into it, too.
They always seem to like Dragon Ball Z *Which I could never tolerate… I think it is a total guy anime where as everything else has femanine aspects that appeal to girls too. THey just brought it back again… *Unfortunately, my kids are 7 years apart… *Just when you think you got rid of Vegita… They pulled me right back in!
*I have two boys, only they aren’t theories… they’re real.
I watch Regular Show like it’s my job.
Yes @Joker94. Came to say the same and add Adventure Time to the list.
One more. 16 might be a bit young for it, but Archer is all kinds of awesome
@GladysMensch I would agree completely with both of your additions. I’ve only watched a little Archer, though, but it is just great!
