What is your favorite chair?

I like big bean bag chairs and those couches with the big L shape at the end.

I have no pix of it, but at my Mom’s house there’s a great chair that we call “Uncle Peter’s Chair” not sure why that is the perfect reading, snoozing, enjoying the flow of people around and about chair.

There’s a chair at my mom’s house that we refer to as “The Edith Ann Chair”. It’s not a rocking chair like Edith Ann’s, but it’s oversized and overstuffed and makes us feel little. =0)

If you don’t know who Edith Ann is, you gotta look her up! Lily Tomlin played Edith Ann, a 5 and a half year old girl who got up to all sorts of mischief and did hilarious “kid things”, and always sat in this giant rocking chair to tell you her stories.

I’m a huge fan of the classic Eames lounger. Comfortable, easy to work in and stylish.

I have a favourite place on the sofa and if people sit in my place I feel a bit miffed. My husband always sits in our rocking chair.

These chairs. Though, they’re rather difficult to find in stores, so the armchair my mom bought years ago, currently resting in front of the television, is my actual favorite.

@mazingerz88 I mean, they can, I think, but you need to buy them from a licensed film merchandiser. All the originals from the movie were destroyed after they finished filming, and they were made specifically for the film..

Edit: Actually, not the exact ones from the film are for sale, but the guy who designed them, Arne Jacobsen, has a line for sale on this site.

My gaming and movie chair is this old ass huge puffy thing from the seventies that rocks in all directions. It’s gray, with wooden arm rest tips and a wooden ornament on the top of the head rest, plus it has those side things you can rest your head on near the top.
I’m pretty sure it belonged to some rich fucker years ago, but now it ended up with me.You can obviously see the age, but it’s well taken care of, and I love it. You sink right in, and it’s all soft and comfy.
I also love my swivel chair that’s at my computer. Black leather and all badass, although my cats kinda did a number on it lol.

It’s a really cool one that has a large hole in the seat.

We used to have this really nice leather chair, given to us by a friend whose failed plans at opening a chiropractic clinic forced a hasty departure. It was built to recline as you sat in it, it swiveled, and it had a detached footrest. I’d watch my after-school cartoons in it, my sister would sleep in it, and we’d park Grandma there, wrapped in her electric blanket.

And I’d love to have one of these. Especially if I could actually give the buttons something to do.
