What tasks do you do, that you always said you wouldn't?

I don’t do ironing. Yet here I am ironing my husband’s shirts. It appears that I do do ironing.

So ya bloody well should, all women have an iron surgically attached to their hand do they not? ;¬}
I’d never have imagined i’d be sewing buttons on shirts, coz as the wife says, i’ve got sausage rolls for fingers. Ah well, there you go.

I think I have maladjusted myself into doing everything I said I wouldn’t. Isin’t that what life is all about?

The only thing I ever swore I wouldn’t do is get married. I don’t know if that’s a task, per se. I changed my mind when I met the woman who would become my wife, and now I think marriage is a very important institution.

Kill creepy crawlies. I’ve been coupled more than I’ve been single so The Man got pressed upon to do the deeds but a few years back it was just me & mom and I had to take on the business of squashing. Ick!

When I was young, I couldn’t clean up vomit or animal droppings, but I got over it.

I swore I’d never give in to the Establishment. Well, it came down to choosing between putting food on the table and my principles. My principles got put aside temporarily, until the economy gets a tad better.

As for daily tasks, I’ve never swore off daily tasks—only larger concepts or practices. Along this thread’s lines… maybe I’ll end up swearing off a daily task soon…
