Went to Europe, saw a few of my favorite bands perform, and bought a new car. It was a great summer.
I didn’t have one because I had summer classes. I’m not complaining, I’ve learned a lot, met some really cool profs, watched some movies and attended a RSC performance. If I could do it again, I would.
Most of my vacation is me being a nerd, and of course, watching movies and eating cold ravioli.
But some vacations are a little more er, classy. This Summer, I went, twice, on trips down to Montréal with friends. We rented a hotel room, went shopping, although not too much, visited a buncha place, saw the science museum and checked out their Indiana Jones exhibit, ate at a buncha places, and drank like pirates. We also went to Québec City for one weekend, and it was boring, but gorgeous. XD
Campfires, drinking, sex, sailing, art galleries, sleeping under the stars, concerts, drunken euchre, hanging out with tinyfaery, and kayaking.
Went to Hilton Head Island twice. I’m fortunate that my best friend owns a condo there and it was pretty much all paid for except food. I got to go up in a hot air balloon and ride in and actually fly a cessna courtesy of another friend.
Took a vacation to England and France, a brief trip to Florida, saw a few live performances of some pretty cool bands, watched a lot of movies, played a lot of video games, hung out with some good people, and made a lot of reckless decisions. It was, in all honesty, probably one of the best summers I’ve had yet.

@Symbeline I was only in Paris for about two days or so, but it was absolutely beautiful. Two days wasn’t really enough to encapsulate it all, I think, but we managed to cover a lot. I’ve already decided that I have to go back for a longer period of time some day, haha. As for England, it was equally as awesome. I got to see all the Beatles’ homes in Liverpool, which just about made me die, and saw a bunch of famous sights in London. It was crazy-mega-super cool, dude..
Ha, sweet. I’d love to visit London some day. If you ever go back to Paris, make sure to check out the Père Lachaise cemetery. It’s some epic business.

@Symbeline I absolutely have to see this. Also, there’s supposed to be a pretty slick torture museum in London, which I didn’t get to check out.. :(

@chyna Those are definitely special. I’ve only seen two really old graveyards in my life, with headstones you simply will not see today. But they were epic as hell.
@Symbeline I really hate to make you jealous, but I live across the street from a cemetary. So cool!

Nah I wouldn’t do that lol. That’s awesome. It’s actually one of my fantasies to live right by a graveyard. Lucky you. :)

I went to the beach three times and saw a couple cool concerts.
Dined at Serena Hotel with my friends.
Watched ‘Fast five’ at the cinema, along with many other good ones. Vin diesel YUM.
Afterwards had the best sleepover ever!!!
I saw Barry Manilow in Vegas
Went skinny dipping and had Al Fresco sex with my boyfriend in Arizona (not far from Phoenix but couldn’t tell you exactly where)
Saw dolphins in San Francisco bay
Visited Kat Von D’s shop in LA
Tried Taco Bell for the first time (I wish we had that over here!)
