When adding topics to a question - which have suprised you by as yet not being one?

Lately, “celebrity” wasn’t a topic.
I am always surprised by this. There is probably a very good reason for it, but there seem to be a lot of common words that aren’t topics.

Dunno. I just type them and don’t look if they were or weren’t added before.
A lot of things were topics, but have been removed for streamlining. I personally find it annoying when I am searching for specific topics…...Science seems to be the end all be all topic here.
BTW-@erichw1504 Nekkid Pancake Party was a topic of mine on every party I’ve given. The topic has been removed.
Guess I’ll start adding the topics in my details as @Jeruba does with her questions
I’ve had the topics to my questions incinerated for the last time. Since mods will completely disregard your choices for what they think is appropriate, all of my questions from now on will have blank listed as the sole topic.

Hrmph!
@FutureMemory Yep, that’s what I’m choosing to do. Then will add the actual topics to my details instead
I try not to bitch, they cleaned up my topics, no problem.
I am perplexed “things that suck” was left as a valid topic, while they took off “Things that don’t suck”.
@Imadethisupwithnoforethought I don’t mind if they clean up topics or make something more searchable. I don’t think focus should be on removing all silly topics though…there’s enough work to do on actual topics. See heart for example. It is difficult to know if a question has already been asked with this many categories for one topic.

The mods obviously approve of blow jobs.
@FutureMemory if I tell you I laughed so hard I spat out what I had in my mouth, are you gonna take it the wrong way?
Doesn’t that depend on what you had in your mouth?^
I add nutty things so I don’t know. I don’t even register if they are real or not. Topic fairies edit my topics anyway :D
In defense of topic editors… using good topics is extremely important to our question matching algorithm. These people are volunteers, and are only trying to improve the site we all love, at our request. They are your fellow jellies, and as such, are only human. We all make the occasional mistake, but please let’s not vilify them for doing what management has asked them to do. Try to be a bit more understanding, please.
By the way, silly joke topics really gum up the system. I know they’re fun, and heck, I laugh, too… but they have to go. I suggest adding the joke topic to the body of your question, at the end. Maybe in small print.
The disruption of the search algorithm is something I wasn’t aware of.
I officially retract my whiny statement above =D
Damn! I knew that was going to happen!!!! I flew under the radar on that “flying porta potties” topic and I knew as soon as I brought to the attention of fluther it would be edited! I should have left well enough alone.
Edited. My original answer was actually a topic.
Really? My topic got modded within 45 minutes tonight? Am I on a list now?
I apologize for speaking.
Let’s all try to make the topic editor’s jobs easier by using good topics, and leaving the jokes for the body of the question.
Xenophobia
Narcissism
Sarcasm
Pretentious bastards

“People that I’d like to bitchslap, Part 1”
Although I may be the only one who uses that topic, I dunno…
