What is happening on The Talk on CBS?

I don’t watch the show regularly. My husband told me Julie Chen decided she wanted to get rid of Leah whats her face and Holly Robinson Pete, and Sharon? I am drawing a blank. Anyway, I tuned in a couple days ago, and now again today, and there are three new women on there, so I guess my husband had the story at least half right. Anyway, I am not loving this total group, so I was wondering if these are permanent choices? On The View they would interview people by having them do several shows, and then other women do it, etc, until they decide on who will be permanent.

@JLeslie As far as I know, the show has always been frought with ego fights. I never think they got it just right.
