How about a battery? Is it a good idea to microwave a battery? Or maybe a can of spray paint? Or how about a car airbag? Is it a good idea to microwave a car airbag? A Nerf gun? Ping pong balls?

I’m gonna’ have to go with… NO.
Yes, all of those are great ideas…....Completely.
It’s an absolutely great idea for YOU to do it. Me, I don’t think I’m up to that level of cooking yet. :-)
Only when they are in your mouth…otherwise you miss out on the experience!
Somebody is totally bored tonight.
I’d just assume have one of my slaves do it if I were you.
Well, microwaving a light bulb certainly doesn’t seem like “an idea whose time has come.” But even so, I would say no, to all of the above. And could you even fit a car airbag into your microwave? Mine wouldn’t be big enough.
Of course. It’s always safe! Try microwaving your underwear too! It’s fabulous.
Jory and Riley say it’s a great idea (of course, they’ve blown up a few dozen microwaves so far :-p
I will advise you though, from personal experience, not to microwave Irish Spring soap. It accomplishes nothing and you will never get the smell out of the thing.
@HungryGuy Would you like to provide us with some context? So we know what the hell you are talking about and why you’re considering blowing up your face? Lol.
@HungryGuy Whoa, nice. I know what’s going to occupy me for awhile…...
Both will probably explode. That means shrapnel, and in the case of the battery, acid.
Make sure to put your face really close to the microwave.
@ragingloli – Nah. Tinfoil shielding will protect me…after all, nobody likes roasted nuts :-p
>Not microwaving lightbulbs
I seriously hope you guys don’t do this
While you’re at it, throw in a can of butane.
Let’s find out.
@KateTheGreat that sounds good right about now, I’m freezing.
Jory: “Don’t try this at home.”
Jon: “We’re what you call ‘experts’.”
Jory: “We are???”
I’d rather “heat up” an inflatable sex doll instead. I’d get a bigger bang that way. Lol. ;)
No. But do try and tell us.
Of course it is…you sure know how to “spark” an idea.
You could microwave any of those. However, you’ll get much better flavor by lightly coating with a little olive oil, rub with some cracked pepper and a bit of garlic, and grill for 6–8 minutes a side. delizioso
OHMy, that was funny, @ucme. :-)
@lillycoyote Just thought i’d shed a little light on the subject that’s all ;¬}
Oh by the way, I just noticed your party thread. I shall pop over for a quickie :¬)
@ucme Your puns are so bad it hertz! :-)
Uncle Fester is turning in his grave! *Gasp!
@ucme People are only putting with the bad puns because your such a fixture around here. :-)
Wow this soon turned nasty!! They are intentionally bad, as all puns should be.
Didn’t realise you were a spokesperson for the masses. Or was it a self appointed position? :¬)
@ucme Are you being serious??? Fixture? As in “light fixture”? That was another pun! I was joking!!!!
@lillycoyote Moi, being serious? Now that is funny!! Note the smiley face which often indicates levity ;¬}.....see, I did it again!
I’m tempted to ask how many jellies it takes to change a li…........but I won’t.
@ucme You are just plain evil! Pure, unadulterated evil! You know I’m not the brightest bulb in the box and you took advantage of that… shame, shame, shame….:-)
Don’t know if you’ve ever seen the movie Despicable Me?
Well, i’m doing a pretty good impression of the “lightbulb” line right now….. with a huge grin across my face :¬)
That’s the one, I was going to post that link myself but “gloeilamp” kinda threw me off.
Anyway I gotta run, getting very late here. So it’s lights out from me, for the time being….it’s been emotional ;¬}
@augustlan Thanks for posting that thread! I miss Loser.
