October is my favorite because of the beautiful weather and gorgeous scenery.
Do you have a favorite month? Why do you like it more than others?

Early May. I love May because of the weather——not too warm, not too cold, just cool enough to be comfortable. You can actually smell spring in the air. The snow has melted all away, and the trees are budding. The landscape looks clean and tidy at that time of year.
Early October is nice too, with the beautiful fall colors and the refreshing crisp cool air. A nice change from the mugginess of summer.
May. Summer is coming, everybody is in a good mood, not hot yet and not many bugs out.
July. My birthday is the fourth of July, so there’s always picnics and parties and fireworks!
December! Not so big on summers.
January.
All the silliness with the holidays is over, and it’s damn cold – I prefer cold weather. Also the ‘clean slate’ vibe can be useful if you’re trying to be productive.
Hard to say. Probably July because I seem to have the most fun in that month. It’s warm, sunny, no school, and time for vacations, so what’s not to like? :)
Either October or November. October because, as you said, gorgeous colours, and the heart of Autumn, which is also my favourite season. Plus, Halloween. :D
But I love November too, because it has the least light, and while all the leaves are gone by then, I find skeleton like trees to be really cool.
I also vote for May. Average date of trees achieving foliage is May 12, say the nature gurus and everything green and lush is still ahead of us. Many family occasions for us in May and a great time to just feel the victory of winter being past. Cheers to lighter hearts and lighter clothing.
April—sweet, fresh, daffodil-hued April.
There’s something wonderful about every month, and I love to see the seasons change (especially in the places where they really change), but I feel that burst of new life in springtime as a refreshment to my deepest spirit.
Another vote for October. Firstly, because the weather is never better; sunny enough to go outside, but brisk enough to not want to be there forever. Also, that’s the month of my birthday!
May here too. Everything is green, the weather is getting nice; the rivers and streams are full. Plus it’s birthday month for me and my girlfriend..
April or May – but not so much because of the calendar month, because of the weather. I like warm and sunny – but not too hot.
Being in SoCal, it rarely rains. Most of the days are sunny and warm, and call me spoiled but I’m tired of having “perfect weather” days. I’ve grown to like the rain…so any month during the rainy season would be a favorite for me. Specifically? December.
Late January. It tends to be the coolest time of the year here in Central Florida.
I am so over the subtropical climate.
.I have sat here for a while thinking which month really stands out over the others and I love them all! December is great for Xmas…July is great for the 4th, my anniversary and sons Bday…August is very special, so is Feb, May and Sept. Nov is great for Thanksgiving but March is really a fun time because we get to tap our Maple trees and get Maple sap which we have boiled down to syrup! I will never forget the day I found a bottle of Aunt Jemimah Syrup in the bucket of the tree in front of my house! The boys still talk about it to this day! That was hilarious and I really wish I knew who put it there!
Any month it’s above 65 degrees.
October.
Why?
Because bonfires burning bright, pumpkin faces in the night, I remember Halloween, brown leaf vertigo, where the skeletal life is known, I remember Halloween!
I would choose October as well. In early October there are still nice, warm days with a light autumn breeze that makes it so pleasant to walk and behold the bright colors of the leaves. Later on in the month a clean, crisp air sets in. Not to mention apples and Halloween which are great.
March-early June. St. Louis has wacky weather that way.
You know…while giving our answers, we ought to have been saying where we are. May in Boston =/= May in Florida =/= May in Sydney. What I love about April may be exactly what someone else loves about June because seasonally those months are the same in our respective places.
I used to love October in the Northeast a whole lot more than I do here in Northern California, where it’s still apt to be summer-warm, and the leaves just turn brown and drop, plop, without any display at all.
November, because summer is over; it’s too hot and humid and you have to mow the lawn and I love autumn, and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
I’m with @Jeruba because
April is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
and I am a masochist.
October here in New England.
Autumn colors, amazing weather, Halloween, family birthdays. I love October.
Plus, I work at a farm where we grow over twenty varieties of pumpkins and squash. They’re so beautiful. Check out the wall they built.
Depends where I am living.
In south FL March.
In Memphis May.
In Michigan July.
I like November. I’m not quite feeling stressed out about by Christmas by then but I am enjoying the more wintery weather and longer nights. I’m in the south of England by the way.
October! It’s my birth month, my son’s birth month, the start of fall )my fav time of year) and the start of the holiday season in my opinion!
Also the best food is coked in October… or maybe I just cook my favs in Oct lol
Per @Jeruba‘s request…my answer still stands at March in Chicago for the tapping of the Maple trees and that there is times still snow on the ground with brave Crocuses and Daffodils peeking their pretty flowers out from under the snow. Plus I get to put on fleece clothes and finally sit on my deck and sip my fresh brewed coffee….I love March in Chicago!
My answers were because of the weather. 80 during the day, 70 at night, blue skies.
July, simply because it’s the month I was born…… regardless of anything else.
I have two -
October because it’s cozy, fall is in the air but it’s not really cold yet, and I love the whole pumpkin/Halloween thing.
Second, equally favorite is April or May – the bad winter is over, nice weather is here, Spring colors, promise of warmth, everyone is happy.
Probably October because they start playing old horror films and Halloween-themed episodes of everything. The best season for television!
Or any month that it happens to get cooler out (i.e. below 80…)
I also love October (now that I’m no longer in school). Not to hot or too cold. Plus I love autumn clothing and wearing boots and layer clothing. Its cool enough to work out outside and still bright and the color of the leaves changing has always attracted me. Last year I got lovely pictures of a small tree with bright red leaves. Depending on the time of day it was, it would look fiery
red or orange. I can see it straight from my porch.
It was also the month I met my husband.
