Why are some jellies now using squirrel avatars?
I’ve noticed that several jellies now have avatars that consist of squirrel images.
Is this to welcome the arrival of Fall, or something even more sinister? ;-o

I just like squirrels, and when everyone else put up squirrel avatars, I wanted one. That’s my reason.

Yet another Fluther meme to be added to our zany culture. :D I don’t know the story behind it, but it’s probably awesome.

There was a badly misspelled question the other day, and I think that’s what started it. Then @Blackberry asked this one, and just like that… it became Squirrel Day on Fluther. :)
Following much discussion of squirrels in @Blackberry’s thread about feeding the little rascals, it was decided by some that we love squirrels and we should have an honorary “Squirrel Day”. I now think my squirrel is quite fetching and am keeping him for a little while.
Only the really cool ones.
