Saul Permutter, a student at Germantown Friends School (‘82), just won ⅓ of the Nobel Prize in Physics. I was his college adviser…a pretty easy job given his intellect, apparent even then.
He knew at the time that he wanted to be an astrophysicist. And so he was.
