What will be the greatest gift to gave your best friend?

My daughter always enjoyed when her friends would buy something for her that she loved and that no one but her friends would know to buy. She liked monkeys and a friend of hers found this long armed cute monkey with velcro on its hands an feet. She loved hanging him around the house.
She also loved unicorns and dragons. Two of her other friends also bought her these things. One bought her a really cool looking dragon that she found at a specialty shop when she went away on vacation. Another found her a awesome unicorn and she shopped in a bunch of different stores to find the right one. I even went with her once and suggested several different ones and she didn’t settle for just any one. She said it had to be special and it was. She found a gorgeous unicorn.
Buy her something that you have seen her oh and ahh over but nevered purchased herself. It doesn’t have to be expensive. It just has to say, I know you better than most people.
She still has the special things that friends have purchased for her. She knows, who bought her what and for what occassion. Fashion comes and goes, so buy her something that will never go out of style and will remind her fondly of you.

@Pandora thank you very much. Yes you are right fashion comes and goes. I also have kept the gifts my friends have gave me; still that they are small little gifts they many alot to me. And also my friend loves monkeys when we was in middle school and high school she would always draw monkeys. I have thought of getting her a picture frame with a collage of pictures we have taken. She always loved taking pictures; it seems that everytime we see each other. She pulls out her phone or her camera and says “picture time”. Always make me smile and remeber when we was in high school and middle school.

Yep, you got the idea. The more personal and unique to her the better. Maybe in your collage throw in some pictures of funny monkeys.
If your not set on a collage than and you have time, maybe you can send in a picture of the two of you that you know she absolutely loves and have it printed onto a blanket.

And on the blanket you can print something like, you will never be alone, or I’ll always have your back, or I’ll always be your saftey blanket, or, for when you need a soft, warm place to land.

Do you have photos of years past you can put into a special photo album, maybe add notes or ticket stubs and mementos to?

How about starting a charm bracelet for her, picking a charm each birthday and maybe favorite holiday?

Invite her on a weekend trip with you. It could be a road trip with lots of fun pictures. You could pick an attraction to visit or find a two-day specialty class like sculpting/cooking/candle making, etc. for the two of you to share.

A new communication device (I hesitate to name one, because they keep changing).
