If a magical Djinn (Genii) Came along and told you you could have one wish what would it be?
What would your wish be?
What would it effect once it came true?
Do you think the Genii would ask for anything in return?
If there were consequences, what might they be?
Should you go around trusting any old Djinn that offers you wishes in the first place? *I hear they aren’t all that reliable…

Nuh-uh! I know the rules! I want three wishes!
Nope… This is a one trick Genii… one wish is all that he can give.

Three wishes is always a prelude used as a means of getting out of the trouble you get yourself into when you get three. So one… makes you actually have to be responsible.
That’s why I said ONLY ONE!
@KateTheGreat Sh*t I forgot to say you can’t ask for more wishes… Dagnabbit!
I would wish to cure my wife from this hell we live with from now on. Everything after that would fall into place with little effort. And the icing on the cake would be big pharma would lose a boat load of money because of it.
Well I we can’t ask for more wishes….
I want a pug.
I’d wish to stop aging. But I’m not wishing for immortality in the supernatural sense. I don’t want to become a zombie or something if my body were somehow destroyed or mutilated. But merely that I’d continue living indefinitely in good health and appearance as long as I don’t have any fatal accidents.
@woodcutter I’m sorry honey… I understand completely what you mean.
Peace and light and love to the both of you always!
@HungryGuy You would REALLY want to live forever?
Yikes! That is the scariest thing I have EVER heard.
I would wish to be a billionaire!
*Magically gives Kate a Pug…
@rightawaygreatjasmine Great answer… Now follow through with the rest of the question.
How do you think that might effect yourself and others once it came true?
Good or bad… realistically what might happen?
@GabrielsLamb If you did, I would be so happy. They are my favorite.
@GabrielsLamb – I didn’t say forever. The universe itself will eventually end in about 30 billion years from now. I don’t want to outlive the universe as a bodyless mind floating in empty void for all eternity. No thanks! I just want my body to stop aging and live a long long time.
Once I have that, then becoming a billionaire will follow in a couple hundred years of real estate investments :-p
@KateTheGreat Wait about 6 weeks… LOL
*Im sorry that I am kidding, but I do wish that I could.
*SHIT! I just used my wish!
*Damn!
*Enjoy your pug…
*Smiles.
@GabrielsLamb I think It would start out good..you know like buying everything I want, buying my family a huge house to live in and paying all their bills, but I think eventually things would start to be less exciting and at some point I wont even care about the money anymore.
@rightawaygreatjasmine Knowing that… WOuld you still make that particular wish or would you alter it slightly?
@GabrielsLamb it would be great. I want a pug more than I want a boyfriend. Lolz.
@GabrielsLamb Hmm I guess I would just make the wish to have the money to buy my family a huge house and pay all their bills, so yeah I guess I would kinda change my wish altogether..
I’d wish… many things. I would need time to think about it .. that’s what I’d tell the genie.
Well to islamic world djinii refers to demon, but since yours is magical I’d honestly wish for world peace. I’d like to see what people in that kind of society look forward to, how much of the sciences would progress and what kind of entertainment would be then acceptable.
I wish Kate would get a pug… In six weeks time! *Echo~
Djinn and Genii are traditionally the same thing.
It’s like calling the angel Gabriel, Gabriel, or Jibreel.
It’s basically the same thing. 6 of 1, and ½ dozen of the other.
“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet?”
I would tell the Genii that I wish a cure for diabetes could be found immediately. It would effect my health for the better, of course, and would help save my military career. (The Air Force is currently in the process of trying to force me out of the military due to my having diabetes.)
Cinnamon, cucumbers and low gluten foods!
Plenty of water and keeping those beasty yeasties in check by high grade probiotics helps.
I’d wish for my mom to be here. She was torn from my life too soon.
I would wish that all the mentally ill in the world could be granted enough peace to provide them with the positive energy they need to keep them from killing themselves.
@tranquilsea I feel ya on that one, but I wouldn’t wish mine back here, I am certain that wherever she is, she is far happier there than she ever was here.
For my children’s happiness.
Become like Captain Hans Gunsche from Hellsing, all I’d have to give up is my voice and the beauty that is mortality…
Seriously though, I would wish to have my entire existance wiped away and in it’s place the miscarried daughter of my mom given a long happy healthy life.
A metric ton of little round magnets.
I want an insane amount of money (kind of like a Bag of Holding that doesn’t run out) and the ability to live long enough to do many good deeds with that money.
I just can’t help but think if I had, say, Oprah’s money, I could help so many people (like, everyone in the damn country) and still be so filthy rich I wouldn’t know what to do with myself.
The gift of a silver tongue.
I would like to know how to grant wishes. Or to be a peak human. Like Captain America. Edit I would like the Genii to be my friend
