Where can I get a real good deal on a Rickenbacker guitar?

If you find a deal, it may not be a Rickenbacker guitar, or is in bad shape.
Expect to pay $2000 USD for a six string and $3000 for a twelve. That’s new, an old 1960’s in good shape could cost two or three times that.

Pawn shops. Estate sales. The only way you are going to find a deal is if the seller doesn’t know it’s value… or is hard-up for cash.

Guess who bought a Rickenbacker 620 midnight blue on Craigslist. It’s a 2008 no scratches/nicks/dents or anything. Plays like a diamond. 950$ Sounds like a deal to me :D

@Tropical_Willie I wish there were even a 1960s Ric just to look at on ebay. It would be stellar to see even a photo of one that exists for sale!
