Would you find being told that you look like a young Jack Nicholson to be a compliment or an insult?
Just something I was told today.

I’m a female, so it would be a little odd if someone said that I looked like Jack Nicholson, but Jack is known for being a hottie, even though he is a little older than your average sex symbol. That’s why he was so great in the movie “Something’s Gotta Give” and “As Good as it Gets.”
He’s got that attractive real-type-of-man look to him, rather than the Ashton Kutcher/Brad Pitt pretty boy thing going on. You should definitely take it as a compliment!
Compliment (here’s a shot of him in his early 20’s from The Raven); unless they were referring to the Shining – but then that’s more “middle aged” so no worries.
Much better than being told you look like an old Jack Nicholson.
“Oh Jesus man, you poor sod, has anyone ever told you you look like a young Jack Nicholson?”
Other than something like that, blatantly a compliment.
Compliment—unless they’re referring to what he looked like in “One Flew Over A Cuckoo’s Nest” or “The Shining.”
You gotta be kidding?! That is a major coo, major.
Depends on your point of view. I mean, on the one hand he was a relatively good looking chap in his younger days, but on the other, he looks like a mad, staring maniac bent on bloody revenge.
@ucme Which is the problem, I don’t know if it was meant that I’m handsome or that I look like a lunatic.
@KidCurtis There is no problem, i’m simply commenting on my opinion of the fella’s looks.
