I want a book that will maybe cover how to remember things well and how to manipulate other peoples memories.
I don’t care too much about the biological aspect of how we remember and retrieve information though

I’m looking for something more than that.
also on how we create memories, if I gave you a list of words around sleep such as dream pillow night but so many you didn’t remember them all, it can be hard to know did blanket come up on that list but you know knife didnt, why though?
Use Google Scholar, put in some search terms that fit what you are looking for and then check out the reference lists of any appropriate materials that come up.
Use a key word search in academic databases or libraries and again, check out references lists in appropriate finds.
This one is the best. It’s a hefty psychological textbook, but you can get one of the earlier editions cheap if you buy it used. I remember there was a whole chapter on memory and lots of studies.
