Can you help resolve this question my co-worker and I are having?
I say the correct term is “Getting diggy with it.” I say it’s a take off of “I can dig it.”
She says it’s “Getting jiggy with it.” I say ‘jiggy’ doesn’t even make sense! like diggy does!.. :)
The winner gets a free pudding cup. As you can, this is quite a serious issue! Please help!

Another vote for jiggy, but I kind of like diggy now that I’ve tried it.
Jiggy. Sorry. It was a Will Smith song from the late 90s.
Your co-worker is correct.
Now give me your pudding cup. I’m hungry.
Lol at pudding cup…....I think it’s jiggy from the song, but diggy could maybe be where Will got it from?
Tow-may-tow / Tow-maw-tow whatever floats your boat.
NOW..I once argued with a co-worker that Pinnoccios father was named “Gepetto” and they swore it was ” Giuseppe” PSHT…did your mommy not read you the classics? haha
Unless you’re talking about Bobby Digital aka RZA of Wu Tang
than it’s Jiggy, I’m sorry.
Big Willie Style’s all in it.
And yet another confirmation of “jiggy” without a doubt.
Further confirmed in a Seinfeld episode:“Jerry, I was ready to get jiggy with it.”
Let’s face it, if it makes it onto Seinfeld (the sine qua non of pop culture) that pretty much says it all.
“master of his domain”
“mulvah”
Need I say more?
Even tho not an original Seinfeld expression, it gains cache merely by association :)
Oh my. I’m over 40….. but I remember the term… ‘gettin’ jiggy wit’ it’.....
So…. I have to vote ‘jiggy’.
It’s Jiggy. Never was it or will it be diggy.
You guys! Now I have to face her. And get a pudding cup. :(
Gittin’ diggy with it sounds better, anyway!
Yes. Laugh, @boxer3. It was my LAST thing of pudding, too! : (
@judochop It may very well be “diggy” NOW! Wait and see!
Let’s get down with the diggy, guys!
You can always insist YOU were the one who thought it was jiggy.
Then practice a verse from the song to prove it
Not that I condone lying…..but. I mean. ... you could..
Jiggy, as per Will Smith.
Can you dig it, or do you dig it was popular in the late 60’s.
Get jiggy with it is my vote.
Not you too @Bellatrix!!!!! You just frowed me under the bus too! My friendliest friend frowed me under the bus! sniff I am alll alone.
@boxer3 Problem with your plan….my error is enshrined right here, in this question, for ALL FREAKIN’ ETERNITY!!!!
Give that shovel to Work For Chocolate. She’s far handier with those things than I am!
