Can you tell me some female character names in John Wayne's films?

We found a tiny kitten on our porch on Saturday, and we think we’re keeping her! We have a habit of naming our pets after characters in John Wayne movies, but I’m having trouble remembering a lot of the female names. Any suggestions?

One of the most charming (if a little feisty) women was Maureen O“Hare in The Quiet Man.
She played Mary Kate Danaher.
@gailcalled We named our recently departed cat, Katy, partly after Mary Kate and partly after the character in “The Sons of Katie Elder”. :)
@augustlan: The pickings are pretty thin; he tended to hog the lead in most of his movies.
I don’t know about you, but I happen to think that Maddie is a marvelous name!
No bias there, or anything… ;)
@Fly Yeah, but do you really want to share your name with the cat? :p
@Fly and @augustlan think of some of the games your family could have. The nosy neighbor down the street asks about you and your husband/SO thinks she asked about the cat or dog.
NN: what has Maddie been up to?
SO: she didn’t come home last night, she was out catting with that Tom from down the street.
;o)
You could look up John Wayne’s films on IMDb and follow the links to the cast lists for each one. That would probably be the easiest way. I see that @blueiiznh has already supplied a link.
(Roll your eyes up to the second answer.)
There is also Debbie Edwards, played by Natalie Wood in The Searchers.
Well, as any self respecting Wayne fan knows, he was born Marion Morrison.
Marion would therefore qualify as an appropriate name for puss.
