Free webcam recorder?

I am looking for a free software that can record the webcam for long periods of time. It should run on Windows.

Really he doesn’t even tell us what its for, if its for security or something, but have at least 100 gigs of space, with much exta so you dont slow down the computer. Really buy a one terabyte external.
