Any heartwarming movies shot in New York City that you can recommend?
Stuck in the house and recovering from a recent surgery, for some reason I find myself in the mood for watching comedy or romantic films shot in New York City. It would be great if I can find it on Netflix instant play but DVD’s are fine as well.
So far, I’ve seen,
“Author! Author!” ( Al Pacino )
“And Justice for All” ( Al Pacino )
“One Fine Day” ( George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer )
“Manhattan” ( Woody Allen )
“Tootsie” ( Dustin Hoffman )
Maybe it’s just the pain meds I’m taking but I do get high and enjoy the subtle jazzy soundtracks that play in these movies and yes, most of them are from the 80’s. I kind of get mesmerized…is that odd?

“You’ve got mail”

There was an old movie from the late 1960’s not heartwarming but had great skyline: Valley of The Dolls.
Check out the other Woody Allen movies. He loved Manhattan and often used it as another character in his films. The sound tracks in his NYC movies are all wonderful.

I agree, You’ve Got Mail is a very nice movie. Just the right mix of romance and comedy.
