Is there a 3 dimensional shape that has 6 equal angles?

Asked by LuckyGuy (43867points) November 1st, 2011

We know a cube has 8 corners. A pyramid with a triangular base (tetrahedron) has 4. What shape would have 6 corners? I am drawing a blank here.
Is it possible there isn’t one?

An octahedron has 6 vertices. It is a platonic solid with 8 faces, each an equilateral triangle, & 12 edges. Image

Oooo. That might be it. Thanks.
The only shape I could think of was something like a window prism with a triangle on each side.

Yep! That definitely works! Perfect!
