I just saw that Fluther is looking for an Operations Engineer. In this large group, is there no one to fit that position?

I bet it is an old advertisement. Fluther doesn’t operate out of SF now. Right?

I don’t know if anyone here can do that but it’s exciting and makes me more hopeful that fluther has a future. If they are hiring a full time operations engineer, that they are investing in the site. That means they don’t intend to just let it die.

Oh, sorry @lillycoyote. I really don’t know that absolutely for a fact. Don’t be completely let down until someone official answers. Just be prepared in case I’m right.

Whats with these new people leaving all the time after one question, its kind of pissing me off. I think this person was jsut trying to get the job. Good thing we wouldn’t have been able to hire, they obviously only cared about money.

Perhaps they have been here before or they are an existing member who didn’t want to ask the question publicly?

Perhaps they wanted to alert people to the job opportunity @XOIIO but don’t want to be seen to be doing this? I don’t know. Sometimes people want to remain impartial in these things. Since none of us have seen it, it wouldn’t be such a silly thing would it? It seems to have gone now anyway.
