What was the last thing that got you really excited?
My passport was sent of to be renewed 10 weeks ago, and today I finally got a call from the courier saying it will be arriving at my door tomorrow at 2pm to 6pm.
Tomorrow I will have a passport, and I will be able to book a flight to the UK, and this means I will finally get to meet my special friend, and give her a great big hug.
I’m super excited, she is super excited, but when was the last time you got really excited about something?

Mines a bit like yours but more short-term excitement:
knowing that I am going to see a special someone later today… i’m pretty much always secretly excited recently.

Umm… I think it was when I bought my new camera.
The vacation in Marrakesh this past February was something to be excited about. The SO and I went knowing nothing about the city, much less the country of Morocco, and it was the first time stepping foot on the African continent.
Spending a week in a city where virtually few people spoke English and it was a completely different culture was one of the most exciting experiences to look forward to. There was no disappointment on our end, yet I would only recommend it for those who are adventurous and have a sense of humor.

Last week I booked tickets to see a show in London with my best friend and my dad. I always get excited when booking theatre tickets!
I went on my first motorcycle ride yesterday. It was very exciting. :)
A few weeks ago when I saw someone I haven’t seen in a few years.
Right now I’m on the road with my parents, house hunting. That’s exciting. :D

Last week when I made some hot and sour soup from scratch and realized that I was able to replicate the flavor of a soup that I once had at a restaurant. The flavor combo had been elusive for several years.
Going home a few weeks ago. Meanwhile. if you’re waiting to book a trip to the UK (which is not inexpensive), which not just pay the extra 60 bucks or so for super-expedited processing? My passport (and my wife’s) got renewed in like 10 days. Enjoy Britain!
Meanwhile, I’m trying to think of something I’ve been really excited about in the last month. It was definitely going to see my family and friends in Oregon, as well as the Pacific and the Oregon coast.
For my birthday, my folks got me the Dark Side of the Moon Immersion Box Set, which is nothing short of awesome. Also, Batman: Arkham City <3
The last thing that got me really excited was finally moving in with my husband in August. That was the most excited I had been since we got married in March! Now I am starting to get excited about going to Israel next year at this time.
