Baptism gifts?
A close friend’s baby is being baptized this month (a girl). What do we give as a gift? Neither my fiance or I are religious.

Call the church office where the bapism is being held, and ask them to recommend some appropriate gift ideas.
A piggybank with one of each kind of coin in it.
How about a savings bond?
You can try childrens religion objects, childs bible and stuff like that, it would fit the age and event
A little silver spoon. Find one in a pawnshop. Polish it. Pretty.
My wife and I give one of those laminated cards that give the religious significance of the child’s name for their family bible or their own.
Theres a paint a pottery place (our local one is Color Me Mine). Hopefully you have one nearby or similar.. And paint a cross. and they would fireglaze it. My niece still have it on her wall after many years, she loves it.
Is your friend religious? If so, you can get the baby a Bible and have his/her name engraved.
If you don’t want to get a religious gift you can find a nice frame and have their name engraved along with the date of the baptism. Things Remembered has stuff like that.
Not all baptismal gifts have to be religious. The above suggestions about something that would be important and special for a child, but not affiliated with Christianity, are great, and might be a more logical choice coming from you, if your friend knows you are not religious. I gave my niece a Baby Blessing Bracelet for her baptism. Also, little lockets for babies are a neat gift that the child will keep forever.
Try a children’s prayer book.
