Why do people post so many videos on Youtube that say "tinyurl" in the description?

Why bother putting up the video in the first place? Sometimes the video will display a message like, sorry we can’t show you this movie but click the link below to watch full version.

Advertising. No one will ever find their website through google but they will probably find it in YouTube. Its bloody annoying.
The tinyurl mask the true location. Clicking that link can send you anywhere and might be downloading something that you don’t want.
I skip them. I always want to know where I’m headed before I click a link.
@worriedguy fwiw, you can disable that “feature”. Go to www.tinyurl.com, and click on the “preview feature” on the left. Now any time you click on a tinyurl, you won’t go directly to the masked page. Instead, you’ll go to a page on tinyurl.com that reveals what the full URL is, with the option of continuing or not.
(of course, this won’t work if the person has used a different shortening service like xrl or bit.ly)
I use tinyurl when I want to shorten a URL. Lately though I’ve been using bit.ly.
I use it for linking to references for presentations.
