Sorry to interrupt here, but if Tim Curry will be reprising his role, shouldn’t Susan Sarandon reprise hers? Let’s see, I need to cast Janet Weiss. On one hand I have you, very good by your own admission, and so good that you are going to start doing commercials someday. On the other hand, we have Susan Sarandon. I’m not sure how she feels about her own acting, but since her role in RHPS, others have thought enough to nominate her for the Academy Award for Best Actress five times and award it to her once. She was nominated seven times for the Golden Globes and has been nominated or won several other awards. I can’t recall her doing a single commercial but she has starred in nearly fifty motion pictures, including Dead Man Walking, Thelma & Louise, Bull Durham, and Lorenzo’s Oil, to name a few. Hmmmmmm…..It has to be you, hands down. The hell with Sarandon, or whatever her name is. I think it was your modesty that won me over. I just need to be certain you do not have any expectations that Mr. Curry will look exactly like he did when he did the role in 1975. After all, it was 33 years ago.
