I have bawlz. I have just enough assertiveness to not get completely trampled on.

I’m not cocky or arrogant or bitchy, but yes, I AM very assertive, a “tell it like it is” no bullshit type.

Everyone that knows me knows that I am a straight shooter and I have been told that my “style” is ” formidable yet sincere.” I take that as the highest complement. ;-)

I am confident and I can be both when need be. Though I am ballzy far more often than cocky.

Why do people say “grow some balls”? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you wanna be tough, grow a vagina. Those things can take a real pounding

smilingheart1's avatar

I am trying to reduce my cockiness and recede the balls.

wilma's avatar

I’m not cocky, and I agree with @Lightlyseared .

rebbel's avatar

Just checked them yesterday for weird deformations; yup, I have balls two.

john65pennington's avatar

Lets put it this way, I am my own man

I will take care of the situation without having an attitude and without involving my personal parts.

@Lightlyseared Hahahahah!! I’ve never laughed so hard!!!

WillWorkForChocolate's avatar

I’ve got balls. My husband lets me borrow his.

Facade's avatar

I’m only cocky when it comes to certain things, but I definitely have lady-nads.

Cocky-ness, sounds like a horny scottish monster…......is a very unattractive trait, me no likey.
I have the balls of King Kong, which are cleverly concealed so as not to frighten the laydeez.

janbb's avatar

I have chutzpah!

Neizvestnaya's avatar

Occasionally cocky, definitely have bawlz!

wundayatta's avatar

I do have balls, but perhaps not in the sense that you mean. I am not cocky and anyone who is cocky or ballsy around me automatically goes down ten points in my esteem. If someone feels the need to be cocky or ballsy, I figure they are pretty insecure. Anyone who is truly confident will let their work speak for them. If you have to talk about it, that usually means there ain’t nuthin’ there.

stardust's avatar

I’ve got balls of steel I do! I’m not cocky – I find that unattractive.

KidCurtis's avatar

I’m fairly sure I’m not cocky but I’ll leave it to others as to whether I fit the criteria to be described with a metaphor involving male reproductive organs.

Berserker's avatar

I’m not cocky, nor have I balls. In fact I’m pretty much a wuss, but ’‘back a rabbit into a corner’’ type of wuss.

rooeytoo's avatar

I am self confident sometimes interpreted as arrogance but they are completely different in my mind. And I agree with @Lightlyseared – I have often wondered why testicles are a measure of strength, etc. when I have seen males of all ages bent over bawling or rolling on the ground in agony because of some sort of contact. Women don’t seem to have any such vulnerable spots
so I’ll stick with my self confidence and ovaries.

The term “You’ve got balls” annoys the daylights out of me. It is a crass, sexist phrase that should have no tie to the male gender, other than its physical meaning. It is painful to have males judged for not being confrontational or women who are. Confrontation or “having balls” is not a bad thing, as long as the scenario is handled tactfully.

Paradox25's avatar

I’m neither cocky (except when I absolutely have to), aggressive, arrogant but because of my gender I do have balls whether I like this or not. What I am is well, me.

@Pied_Pfeffer The term “You’ve got balls” annoys the daylights out of me. I agree, and so do statements like grow a set.
