How do I set Google as my default page?

Asked by Dutchess_III (47069points) November 8th, 2011

Everything completely changed recently—I think it was from the last Firefox update. Now my default web page is Ask.com <<Don’t go there and it is absolutely worthless.
I no longer have an “internet options” tab, which is where I’ve set my default pages in the past.
In fact, I cant seem to find any way to change anything now.

Can anyone help?

“Set a single web site as your home page
If you like to keep things simple, here’s how to set your home page in three easy steps.

Open the web site you want to set as your home page. If you want a blank home page, open a new tab.
Click the icon to the left of the web address, drag it to the Home button, and release.
Click Yes to set this as your home page.source

This is an easy one: it’s harder to not make Google your home page – the leeches.

Open @#$%^ Big Brother Google

Now click on tools and at the bottom, the last one – click on internet options

Set home page to (the one you are currently on)

Click at the bottom “set”

And you’re set.
