Care to share some recipes, what could I cook that would make a nice romantic meal for two?

My girlfriend just went to work, and she wont be back for 8 hours. I’m going to go in to town and do some shopping. I intend to cook her a nice meal for when she comes home.

I’m an ok cook, the things I make are always nice, but my range of recipes is a little limited, and could use a new one or two.

I am now living in the UK, and shops here have much more choice than in Spain, so I should be able to get any ingredients I need.

What could I prepare for my girlfriend tonight? I was thinking 3 courses, starter, main and desert.

(we are both allergy free and have a wide range of tastes)
